The iconic trio was caught revealing each other’s deepest secrets and sharing the experience of working with each other over the decades. But what caught the judges and audience’s attention is Udit Narayan sharing an intimate detail about the start of his singing career.

When contestant Chaitaniya Mauli performed Tere Naam that was sung by Udit Narayan in the ’90s the legendary singer got emotional and gave the 12-year-old Rs.101. When asked by his Kumar Sanu, “Why Rs. 101?” to which the singer replied, “You might think that it is a small amount but this the amount that started my career in the music industry.”
The singer told the judges, “When I sang my first song, I was paid Rs. 101. And it is the journey from that Rs. 101 to today that made me the man I am today. I am wealthy enough to give this a crore, but I choose to give him Rs. 101 and give him the pleasure of having his own journey that he will cherish for the rest of his life.”
This incident made the young contestant from Alandi, Pune gleam with joy. Further in the show, the 12-years-old who is also a big devotee of Vitthal (God Vitthoba) was asked to sing a small Abhang for the god by Kumar Sanu.
