Ludhiana, August 26, 2019 (Akash Sharma): BYJU’s the Learning App conducted a pool campus placement drive at CT University (CTU). It is a pioneer in the global ed-tech segment and the largest K12 learning app in the world with over 10 million students learning with them.
478 students, of B.E/B.Tech, MBA 2020 passing out batches from different colleges namely NIT Jalandhar, GNDU Amritsar, DIT University, Baba Farid Group of Institutions, PCTE Baddowal and SBBS University, Ludhiana Group of Colleges, CT Group Jalandhar who, by clearing the first eligibility criteria i.e. of scoring minimum 60 percent in 10th, Under Graduated and Post Graduate course participated in the pool placement. The annual package of the selected students would be of Rs. 10 Lakh per annum. Out of these, 42 students got shortlisted for the final Personal Interview round.
Parikshit Kochhar and Sachin Girdhar, Senior Recruitment Managers, BYJU’s the Learning App briefed the students about the company who has its giant grab in the global edtech space with an array of investors valuing the company at thousands of crores. They further appreciated the performance and approach of CT University’s students as well as other students from various colleges.
Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor, CTU said that University is justifying its moto of ‘industry driven’ to be beneficial for students. CTU is a place for seeking theoretical and practical knowledge hand in hand and resulting with beneficial placements. He further congratulated all the students who got such a great opportunity.
