Chandigarh, December 26, 2019 (News Team): The Department of RISE (Research, Innovation, Sponsored Projects and Entrepreneurship) at CGC Landran launched an electronic Newsletter “INNOVARE” which will be published fortnightly and will give space to the innovative events and start-up stories happening all across the globe. The Newsletter was released by Sunil Chawla, DGM, Dept. Of Industries and Commerce who was the also the chief guest for the ‘Start-up workshop’ which was organised to familiarise the faculty of CGC Landran to train students on framing Business model, Revenue model, Team building and competitor analysis which are the prerequisite for becoming an entrepreneur.
The session to support start-ups was addresses by keynote speakers Param Kalra, founder of Start-Hub Nation and Harit Mohan, founder of Signicent Information Solutions LLP who shared ways for generating ideas that could turn out to be commercial start-ups in the near future. A clear demarcation between traditional businesses and contemporary start-ups was also discussed which are supported by Angel investors unlike banks which were the only source of funding in the past.
