Ludhiana, December 01, 2019 (News Team): Sat Paul Mittal School organized the Annual Function, ‘Abracadabra’ with a great zeal on 30th November, 2019 in the Mittal Auditorium. An incredible tale of courage, fear, failure, persistence, love and triumph was dramatized by the Satyans of classes II, V, VIII and XI. The presence of eminent guests as well as the parents added to the grandeur and significance of the occasion.
Rakesh Agarwal, Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He was accorded a warm welcome by Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Chairman, Governing Council, Sat Paul Mittal School and Bipin Gupta, Vice Chairman, Governing Council. In his welcome address, Rakesh Bharti Mittal, introduced the worthy Chief Guest and apprised the audience about the stellar achievements of the school. This was followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp accompanied by a holy chant of Veda Mantra. The cultural extravaganza for the day comprised of a rich blend of enthralling music, dance and drama items. The cultural fiesta started with the magical invocation to seek the blessings of God through a Kathak performance. The energetic performance left the audience gaping at the incredible display of talent.
This was followed by the song Abracadabra that set the tone and mood of the show. It was the tale of a young voyager who embarks on a journey of a life time through an enchanted land with fairies and goblins, evil witches and kings with riches, whimsical towns with cobblestoned streets, haunted forests, misty dreamscape, spectacular landscapes and fantastical creatures, to finally reach her destination. The function reflected the very ethos of the school where qualities like perseverance, empathy and optimism are the shining jewels that crown every Satyan. The parents applauded and praised the scintillating performances put up by the ardent Satyans.
The Chief Guest was impressed by the infinite talent and creativity exhibited by the Satyans. He was full of praise and appreciation for the students and their mentors for presenting such a flawless and enthralling show. The function ended in a beautiful resonance with the school song and the National Anthem.
