Ayub Khan looks back at some good old memories of the festival as he would celebrate it with his mother, Begum Para, and his daughters. Sharing some memories, he says, “After my daughters were born, my mother would always knit sweaters in different styles and colors for them. I loved her innovativeness with these sweaters. Especially during Eid, when I would visit her with my daughters, other than a full spread of a sumptuous meals, I'd find balls of yarn, knitted into different stages of incomplete sweaters throughout the house. She'd literally have multiple projects of sweaters being knitted by her, lying around the house in various stages of completion. My daughters would love to get these sweaters from her along with their Eidi. I miss these little bits of the festival.
Even though the schedule for the outdoor shoots was hectic and the weather extreme for the show Ranju Ki Betiyaan, Ayub continued to fast through the month. He urges everyone to stay safe and take care of themselves and everyone around during these difficult times.
