Ludhiana, October 10, 2021 (News Team): One of the oldest health care organizations of Ludhiana Kalra Nursing Home announced the commencement of its Super speciality Urology department and pediatrics (child speciality) department. This was announced by Dr. Surinder Kalra, MD, Kalra Nursing Home in a press conference today.
The new Urology outpatient clinic will be under Dr. Yogesh Kalra, MBBS, MS, MCh Urology. Dr. Yogesh Kalra, Senior Consultant Urologist, having vast experience in the field of Urology and has worked in various hospitals like Fortis Hospital Ludhiana, Himalayan Hospital Dehradun and presently working in Deepak Hospital Ludhiana as Senior Consultant.
Dr. Shruti sood Kalra, MBBS, DCH Pediatrics with vast experience in the field of pediatrics, formerly senior resident Bara Hindurao hospital Delhi and Kovai medical center and hospital Coimbatore will be incharge of pediatrics department.
On this occasion, Dr. Yogesh Kalra informed that the Department of Urology is well equipped with advanced outpatient clinic including uroflowmetry. It has advanced facilities to deal with all types of urology diseases like kidney and ureter stones, prostate diseases (benign prostatic hyperplasia, prostate cancer) urine infections, urinary incontinence, genitourinary cancers, sexual problems, male infertility.
On this occasion Dr. Shruti Sood Kalra informed that the Pediatrics department is equipped with advanced outpatient clinic, well baby clinic, pediatric immunization facilities, high tech ward with specialised care of all kinds of pediatric diseases like infections, nutritional disorders, respiratory diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, adolescent problems.
