Ludhiana, July 27, 2023 (News Team): Committed to spread road safety awareness to make Ludhiana roads safer, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) and Municipal Corporation of Ludhiana today celebrated 7th anniversary of its Children Traffic Training Park in Ludhiana.
The celebration was held in the presence of Mr. Avtar Singh (SDO) and members from Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India.
In July 2016, HMSI in collaboration with Municipal Corporation of Ludhiana inaugurated its first-ever Children Traffic Training Park in Punjab. Spreading awareness on safe riding habits, road safety rules, signs and markings and road sharing manners, HMSI announced that through its daily trainings for all age groups, it has educated over 2 lacs people of Ludhiana (more than 1,69,00 kids along with 50,000 new and existing riders including both male and females) since inception.
Elaborating on spreading road safety awareness Mr. Vinay Dhingra – Senior Director, HR, Admin, IT and Corporate Affairs, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India said, “As a socially responsible corporation, HMSI is dedicated to fostering safety riding habits and promoting positive change for all road users. A significant initiative in this regard is the development of Ludhiana's children traffic training park in collaboration with city's municipal corporation. This endeavour aims to nurture young minds not only to be responsible road users and road safety ambassadors, but also to be safe riders in future. Moving forward, our dedication to fostering a sense of road discipline among the citizens of Ludhiana remains unwavering. We are committed to create a safer road environment that benefits everyone in the city.”
